Honey Bear is Available Do you have a place for me? "Honey Bear" -- PLease only apply if you have no other animals living at home, Honey is a lovely only pet in home dog but her love for humans makes up for not liking other animals, she is fine being walked past them without any aggression just does not like face to face or living with other animals
What a LOVER and charmer she is, you won't find another dog as charming and loving, outgoing
and happy as this gal for what she lacks in liking other animals she makes up in loving her humans, what a easy dog who does not ask for much but lots of love and a warm place to sleep, even though most of her live was spend tied in a 4 by 4 kennel, tied so tight on a collar that now she can only wear a harness as her trachia is a bit sensitive but no injury was done to it as we had her x-rayed.
Honey is out of her chewing and hyper stage, at about 5 years and weighs a healthy 50 pounds with a beautiful coat.
She loves walks and expolring she's a nature lover, she's good and easy on leash she would make a great outdoor adventure buddy and she's a great lap dog too just hanging out watching TV, she's a real lover&snuggler, not asking for much
She would be a great companion to a retired person that's looking for a loving friend and loyal companion for life in a quiet country setting, but does not mind being alone for the day in yard while
people work.
She's fully house trained now and a house dog with access to a fenced yard. Honey-Bear has a beautiful coat of tan/brown/black, short to medium lengths.
Honey-Bear is UTD on shots, microchipped, heartworm tested and on prevention, spayed, healthy
Open your heart&home for this sweet derseving gal, she is fine with kids and would do great with well behaved kids that know how to respect a dog or adult home, she really loves guys a lot
She has never ever shown any human aggression and I would lie my hand in the fire for her she adores people this gal gets over looked way too much she deserves a great family.
When in Petco she always walks up to the kids with a big smile and a tail that wags wanting pets.

Small adoption fee to right home, homecheck, vet references, fenced yard.

Luna is Available Do you have a place for me? "Luna" -- Luna is a very sweet and beautiful dog. She loves nothing more than to be a big coach potatoe with you. She gets along great with other dogs from about 15 lbs and up. Any smaller and she might mistake it for a cat, and she absolutely does not get along with cats. She loves children and younger dogs to play with her. Her favorite toy is anything that squeeks, although they only last about 15 minutes until she rips the squeeker out of them. She has such a loving personality and loves to give you kisses on your chin. Feel free to call or e mail with any more questions.

Female, 10 years old, Grey and White, Blue eyes

Kayla is Available Do you have a place for me? "Kayla" -- This is our family dog of nine years. She is very friendly but last night when my 2 year old grandaughter pulled her tail she bit her. We have little children at home and my daughter in law is tramautized. We want to place her as soon as possible since my daugher in law and grandchildren are staying at our home. Kayla is pure bred but fixed, and is a friendly dog, but should probably not be around small children. We want to make sure she is taken care of properly.

Male, 4 years old, Black and White, Bi-Eyed eyes

Max is Available Do you have a place for me? "Max" -- Max was rescued off the streets, and he was in desperate need of care and food. We took him to the vet, had him neutered, given all his shots and started on heartworm preventative. He was immediately sweet but needed basic training. We lead trained him, crate trained him and taught him to sit. He loves to fetch, go for walks, swim, and get belly rubs. He's incredibly loyal and affectionate. He is afraid to go into a house, but he's starting to learn that it's ok. He currently lives with two other dogs and children. However, he has shown the ability to have dog focused aggression, and he will chase cats. We can control him, but it's something to be very cautious of. We are looking to place him in a loving home, ideally one without dogs, cats, or children. If you are looking for a sweet, intelligent, loving, companion, Max is the dog for you.

Female, 3 years old, Red and White, Brown eyes

Abby is Available Do you have a place for me? "Abby" -- This aren't the best pictures, but simply put, Abby is a stunning dog, with a very soft coat. She is a 3 year old Husky/chow mix. I am looking for a home for both her and her bother Nelson. I would very much like to place them together, but understand that is not likely. She does well with small children, but not cats. While she is a beautiful dog, she does need some guidance, from day one she was a very shy dog and seems "unsure" of her self. She knows sit and shake (loves to shake) but if she gets out of the yard she takes off. Abby does not jump fences, and loves walks, but like her bother and the husky nature, pulls quit a bit. I would like to think she is house trained, but she has had several accidents. Abby is loving, shy of new people, never harmed another person or animal, but does need someone that can work with her shyness and walking. I would love to keep her and her bother, but a new baby is preventing me from making sure they get adequate attention and exercise. She was crate trained for a year until her brother came to live with us and we didn’t have another crate. She also know “go to bed” and “go outside”.

Male, 3 years old, Red and White, Brown eyes

Nelson is Available Do you have a place for me? "Nelson" -- Nelson is a 3 year old Husky/Chow mix, with a mild Husky temperament. He is very affectionate and loving. He his house trained and knows some very basic commands (sit and down). Does great with small children, but not kitty-cats! He is shy of strangers at first, and tends to bark when the door bell rings, or someone enters the house, but a good sniff and it's all over. I would really like to place him with his sister Abby together, but understand that is not likely to happen. As much as I adore them both, a new baby in the house is preventing me from giving the two of them exercise and attention. Nelson loves walks, but is a very strong puller, but don't worry, unlikely a true husky he can not jump over fences. I like to refer to Nelson as a "cool dog". He is full of good disposition and a great friend.

Sheeba is Available Do you have a place for me? "Sheeba" -- Sheeba is a wonderful active dog. She is good with children 5 and up. She requires lots of attention. She is very lovable and has an awesome personality. She is house broke however if left home alone or sometimes at night she will go in the house. She don't seem to like cats. She can jump a six foot fence and if let out the front door she will run. We are looking for a home for her where she will get all the attention and love she deserves.

Female, 3 years old, Grey and White, Brown eyes

Teeka is Available Do you have a place for me? "Teeka" -- Teeka was found abandoned along with two other litter mates (we think) at age approx 3 months. I took her and her brother in and raised them and placed the other female puppy. She has been great to live with and has a very sweet personality. However, this past week, for the very first time, she and another female that I own got into a very serious fight (over $500 in vet bills for Teeka). She received numerous contusions on her face and legs requiring stitches, but other wise is in excellent health. I plan to work with the two dogs to try to ameliorate the problem but realize I may not be successful. For sake of the health and safety of my dogs, as well as my family, I may be forced to place either her, or the other female (a shepard, golden, akita mix breed who is also a rescue dog). However, if it is necessary to place her, it is my intention to keep her until her wounds heal. At this point, I'm just inquiring to determine what my options are and to have a plan in place if the worst outcome arises. Please contact me as soon as possible. Teeka is a bit on the shy side and it would be critical to find the right home to accomodate her timid personality. I have a child that has Down's Syndrome and Teeka relates very well with him, but it does take some time and effort for her to accept and trust new people. She is a digger, if given the opportunity, but doesn't bark excessively and has yet to jump a fence. I have rountinely left her alone in the house with another dog for company while at work and have yet to experience any distruction while unattended. Also, she is not as high energy as one would expect of a Husky. Other than the shyness, she is extremely mellow, which has made the latest blow out such an unexpected mystery. Any placement would be subject to my approval and on site inspection of her accommodations with right to have her returned in the event the placement didn't work out for any reason. Photos and microchip number to follow. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

Indy is Available Do you have a place for me? "Indy" -- Indy is a 2 ½ year old male husky mix. He weighs 85 pounds, is copper and white with brown eyes. He has had all vaccinations, has been neutered and is on flea and heart worm preventative. He is crate trained and went to obedience school as a puppy. He knows the commands – sit, down, and wait. He is very responsive to his owner’s tone of voice and very obedient. He likes to chase a ball and likes to walk and run on leash but he does pull on the leash at times. He is very loving and protective of his family. He can be leery of strangers and can become aggressive. He barks at strangers that come into the yard if they are not with a family member. He has not been around small children. Indy “talks” like a Husky and does some occasional digging. Indy has become fearful at the Vet’s office on his last two visits. Indy’s fearfulness and aggressiveness toward strangers can be troublesome, but they do make him a good watch dog. Indy has a fun and playful personality with his family. He brings us his food bowl when he wants to remind us to feed him and he nudges our hand to ask us to pet him.
A job transfer is causing us to move out of State and we will be renting a home for a time. We are sad to have to find a new home for Indy, but it seems to be the best thing to do at this transitional time. We are looking for a wonderful home for a wonderful dog.

Astro is Available Do you have a place for me? "Astro" -- Everywhere he goes, people comment on what a beautiful dog Astro is! This handsome Husky/Lab/Shepherd mix was found as a stray and spent over a month in an LA shelter before being rescued. This happy boy is now in foster care, looking for his forever home!

Astro is young, energetic, and very very cuddly. He wants nothing more than to curl up on your lap and take a nap- after a good walk, of course. Astro was not trained prior to coming to rescue, but he's a fast learner! He's now housebroken, and knows basic commands like "Sit", "Shake", and "Lay Down". He's gentle when meeting kids, but can still be a mouthy puppy. Astro gets along well with other dogs while off leash but needs more socialization on leash. He loves car rides, long walks, and everyone he meets.

Please e-mail for more information on Astro... he's a wonderful dog!

Northern Oregon

Female, 7 years old, Grey and White, Blue eyes

Inga is Available "Inga" -- Inga and Georgia are pure breed Siberian Huskies living in Portland Oregon. Inga is AKC registered as Amarusnik's Inga. Her birthday is November 16, 2000. She is grey and white with blue eyes.

Georgia is Inga's pup. She was born January 15, 2004. She is not registered, however her father is AKC registered as Sedona's The Guardian. Georgia is mostly white with parti eyes (mix of grey, blue and brown).

Inga and Georgia spend all their time together. They sleep in the same dog house, share the same toys and chase each other whenever they can. They are social dogs and like going to local dog parks and on walks.

Inga is the contemplative and patient one while Georgia asserts herself over her mother and is at the first of the line at dinner time. Inga and Georgia like most huskies can be territorial over toys and bones. Neither dog has ever bitten anyone.

Inga had training as a puppy and they both went through the Bark Buster program as adults. They still have some behaviors that need working on like barking and pulling on the leash. We feel these behaviors would work themselves out though with someone who is consistent with them as far as exercise and training.

Both dogs are current on their vaccinations and have MicroChips. We have dog crates, doggy packs and leashes for both dogs.

We are looking for someone who can give these dogs a loving home with lots of exercise. We would like to keep them together.

If you are interested in seeing more pictures or would like to ask us questions about these beautiful dogs, please contact us.
